Jim Conover - Writer / Producer / Director
Jim Conover was a police officer for twenty years. During the latter part of his career, Jim and his bothers opened a private detective agency and he spent fifteen years working as a private detective. In 1987, while still a police officer, Jim started writing. Jim wrote and directed the feature film, THE SHOWDOWN.

William Homel
William Homel is a retired power plant engineer who has been active with community theatre, storytelling, photography, ghost hunting and movie making. He was a co-star and the production manager for the Western movie The Showdown. He is an investigator and camera operator on a team of paranormal investigators. He was production manager on the TV pilot film titled Haunted No More. William co-authored with Conover the screenplay Bass Reeves: Deputy U.S. Marshal.

Fast with his twin six-shooters and his sawed-off shotgun, Bass Reeves, the first black Deputy US Marshal, a flashy dresser and tough as nails rode through the Indian Territory of Oklahoma for 32 years arresting over 3000 men including his own son for murder, killing 14 outlaws and wounding many more who resisted arrest.

Hard riding, fast shooting, beautiful and conniving; Pauline Cushman, actress and spy for the Union, charged around Tennessee using any means she could to gather military intelligence until she was caught and sentenced to hang. Major Pauline won a Bronze award at the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival and went on to win the Hollywood Scriptwriter's Written Word Award in July 2008 at the Action On Film International Film Festival.

GREENHORNS AND KILLER MOUNTAINS (Screenplay) written by Jim Conover

SLAYER OF INNOCENCE (Book) written by Jim Conover
A predator pedophile serial killer had been on the loose for many years. More than 16 young boys throughout the Midwest, California, Oklahoma and Arizona have disappeared under very similar circumstances and at least 14 have been discovered murdered. This pedophile predator made the Midwest his killing field from 1972 until 1979 when a handful of dedicated lawmen finally caught his track.
