WBMT represents writers, directors and producers working within the film industry. WBMT is in the business of acquiring completed literary properties for exclusive representation. Titles currently include graphic comic novels ( 72-160 pages), screenplays, (live-action and animated) as well as traditional novels. Writers please refer to Submission Guidelines.
Since it's founding in March 2009, WBMT has established connections in the industry to strong agencies, producers, studios and investors. WBMT is built around Brantley's 27 years of experience in the industry, and negotiated its first sale shortly after forming in March 2009 with another sale on the horizon.
In the first three months of operation, WBMT received interest from CBS Films, Brad Pitt's PLAN B, Trancas International Films, CAA, Paradigm, William Morris Endeavour, Dreamscape Films, LLC., Mean Time Productions, Jeff Erb (Producer, Framelight/Feverpitch), Levine Management, Cartoon Network (Adult Swim Division) and Astrakan Films regarding the quality of choice in agency properties. The agency continues to attract interest, most recently from Mechaniks, Carnival Films (London), Catsnake (London), and the Mark and David L. Wolper Organization, as well as other companies on the Warner Brothers lot.

AUGUST 18, 2010: WBMT SIGNS AWARD WINNING LOS ANGELES BASED DIRECTOR JAMES R.GORRIE
WBMT is pleased to announce at this time that the agency has acquired the exclusive rights worldwide to represent feature film director James R. Gorrie and his screenplays entitled LUCKY LIKE US, PERPETUAL MOTION and THE PARIS MATCH.
WBMT has also acquired exclusive sales agent rights regarding domestic television broadcast and/or theatrical distribution for Gorrie's THE INDIAN, starring the outstanding newcomer MATT DALLAS, SAL LANDI and ALISON HAISLIP. DVD distribution is handled by E1 ENTERTAINMENT. Foreign Rights for Television are handled by CURB ENTERTAINMENT.


JULY 4 2010: WBMT SIGNS CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED NOVELIST AND BESTSELLING AUTHOR SAM MILLAR

JUNE 27 2010: WBMT HAS NEGOTIATED THE OPTION OF FILM AND TELEVISION RIGHTS FOR "JESUS HATES ZOMBIES"
WBMT is pleased to announce that the agency has negotiated a Literary Purchase Option Agreement regarding Author Stephen Lindsay's underground classic JESUS HATES ZOMBIES.
